Currently managing platform teams in Hedielberg Materials including DevOps and Data Platform teams. Joined Heidelberg Materials in 2019 with a goal to build global API platform for modern applications. I work in professional software development for 20 years started from system software in C++ to SAAS and cloud development. Last eight years main interests are around APIs and cloud development.

Tobias Schneck is a Principal Architect at Kubermatic, an open-source platform for Kubernetes management. He is a passionate advocate for open-source technologies and has a deep understanding of cloud-native infrastructure. Tobias has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry and has held various positions in development, operations, and architecture. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences and has written numerous blog posts and articles on cloud-native topics. Bringing the advantages of cloud native technologies and development workflows to everybody is his aim.

Mario is a Professional Service Engineer and a DevOps since the beginning of the merge of Dev and Ops, Mario started working on infrastructure as a developer, when bare metal was the normal case. Since the transition to docker and container based infrastructure, he shares his knowledge about cloud related Topics either as GDG Cloud Munich organizer or as a Google Developer Exper on Meetups and conferences. The mixture of being a developer and also an ops for more than 12 years, give his talks & blogs a more hands on and more real scenario approach.

Daniel is a Cloud Architect @Portworx helping customers to deploy, run, scale and secure persistent workloads on containerized platforms. In prior positions he supported VMware customers in designing and securing their virtualized networks for VM and containerized workloads.

Alfred focuses on microservice architectures with Kubernetes on premise and in the cloud. For him, the focus is on ensuring that the software offers added value for both users and developers. Work should be efficient, productive and enjoyable at the same time. Fun at work and clear benefits are inextricably linked.

Yusuf Yildiz is a Solutions Architect at LINBIT with extensive, hands-on experience. Based on his experience in the field, he is able to find the most suitable solutions for both companies and individuals.

Johannes is a Software Architect at SmartFactoryKL and Researcher at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Kaiserslautern, specializing in the domain of Edge-Cloud for manufacturing. Prior to joining the research institute, he gained hands-on experience in the global SmartFactory team of a leading manufacturing company, contributing to the development of an IIoT architecture. His current research explores how modern IT technologies in edge and cloud systems can be integrated with Operational Technology (OT) environments to create flexible and resilient manufacturing systems.

I am a seasoned Principal Software Engineer and Software Architect with over 15 years of experience in IT solutions, spanning both on-premise infrastructures and advanced cloud environments. My passion lies in containerization, virtualization, Kubernetes, and software architecture, and I have been deeply involved in driving cloud transformation projects.

As a strong advocate for Linux, I bring extensive knowledge of IT systems, specializing in deploying containerization tools and Kubernetes to improve operational efficiency and scalability. My work focuses on designing resilient, cutting-edge systems that stay ahead of the technological curve.

Kevin comes from a lengthy background in infrastructure automation. With containers eating the world, Kevin shifted his focus to Kubernetes as the platform of choice for scalable infrastructure automation. Previously at Puppet, he was a Principal Architect that helped customers introduce desired state enforcement to control their traditional infrastructures. This was a great primer for Kubernetes, as that also is designed heavily around the concept of desired state enforcement. Prior to Puppet, Kevin was a Technology Officer at KPN Corporate Market, responsible for technology strategy in the managed services and datacenter space.
