CDS Hackathon

Welcome to our first CDS Hackathon edition - Where Innovation Meets Collaboration!

Joining the Hackathon during the two days at CDS means committing your time and effort to your project and group. It's a chance to delve into a topic you're passionate about and eager to explore further. Considering everyone's interest in attending sessions and the limited time available, each group is encouraged to manage their project's structure and pace independently. However, amidst this, you'll also have the opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and demonstrate your skills alongside your peers.

Day 1 - Tuesday, September 3, 2024
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM	Welcome & presentations of topics
10:00 AM - 05:00 PM	Individual group work throughout the day
05:30 PM - 06:00 PM	Group gathering to discuss progress of Day 1
Day 2 - Wednesday, September 4, 2024
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM	Gathering and kick off for Day 2
10:00 AM - 05:00 PM	Individual group work throughout the day
05:30 PM - 06:00 PM	Project results presentations by each group

Participant information

Participate in the CDS Hackathon during the two-days conference and access also different sessions and talks!

Free Entry to the Hackathon: It is complimentary for all CDS 2024 attendees.
Registration: Register for CDS and add the Hackathon option during the registration process.
Dedicated Badge: You will receive an exclusive badge as a Hackathon participant.
Venue: There will be a lounge set up dedicated for general interaction during the Hackathon and side rooms for group work.
Communication at all times before and during the conference: There will be a dedicated Slack channel for all Hackathon participants for discussion, updates, and topic proposals.

Timeline

June 30, 2024 - Deadline to register to the Hackathon
- Sign up for the Hackathon during ticket registration
July 2024 - Topic Selection
- All participants receive a Google Form where they can submit projects
- Anonymous voting from all participants to decide on final topics
August 2024 - Group Formation
- All participants receive a sheet overview with the final projects
- Participants choose and join the project they wish (not exceeding 6 members per project).
- Finalized groups can start preparing project outlines
September 3, 2024 - CDS Day 1: Hackathon Day
- Dive into collaborative group work
- Utilize dedicated spaces for productive sessions
September 4, 2024 - CDS Day 2: Hackathon & Presentation Day
- Showcase your innovative solutions.
